The performance "We" was the first choreographic performance in my career, it was the first time I designed costumes for dancers and I needed to get acquainted with the specifics of such work. The choreographer and I worked with each dancer separately and tried to come up with an individual costume for each, emphasizing his character, but at the same time creating an overall laconic solution to the performance because the plot mainly requires crowd scenes.
Gradually, during the performance, the white costumes of the dancers were filled with color, came to life, each acquired more and more individuality and brightness.
As for the scenography of the performance, our inspiration was the well-known game "Tetris"; our design for the performance consisted of figures from this game. The dancers built the locations themselves, it was part of the performance and it was interesting for them and us to work with the constantly changing moving space.
