Theater in Motygino

A warm, heartwarming family story, similar to the stories our grandparents told us. We composed this performance in the distant village of Motygino, where you need to get on three ferries across the rivers, and this time we traveled on ice on hovercraft in winter, the road is not easy, but it's worth it. In this small village there is a tiny wooden theater, very homely, where hospitable and sincere people work. For our performance, I wanted to come up with an imaginative metaphorical space in which we could tell a parable about forgiveness, about an ambiguous life, about faith, hope and love, about intimacy between people. My love in this performance is the small wooden houses that the actors carry in their arms, hug, cherish, rearrange and interact with. At the end of the performance, there is only one house left, in which the lights are on in the windows, as a symbol of family, warmth and hope; you want to be inside with your family, safe.
