This is the first and very important site-specific performance in my creative activity. This is where it all started for me, I absolutely fell in love with this theater format and now I work independently in this direction, as a director and as an artist.
I came to this festival, to a completely extraordinary place, Lake Baikal, we lived in the wild on the shores of a beautiful lake and there we composed our own play about birth, life, death, the path of life and the formation of personality.
I came up with many attractions for this performance, such as a burning circus ring buried in the sand, bathtubs filled with milk that also burned on our way, a barn that I painted by hand, a boat that took the main character far from the shore. I also sewed a rag doll of mother myself, which turned into a totem protecting the hero on his difficult path.
I am absolutely delighted with what we have achieved, with the experience gained, and now I dream of doing site-specific performances on my own.
