"Timur and the Comet"

The play "Timur and the Comet" is based on the play "Vadik Sings His Music", this is one of my favorite modern plays, and even in verse, which is especially close to me. I was faced with a rather difficult task, within the framework of the scene, to compose the entire journey of the main character, who leaves society, essentially runs away from home and begins to live an independent adult life. This is the path of an artist, musician, creative person in search of himself, in search of his place in life, in search of his music. It was interesting for me to visualize the rich metaphorical series from the play on stage; as a result, our world was filled with various characters that the main character meets on his way. This text hit the heart of us, the director and our team, because we are close to this path and the constant process of searching for ourselves and meaning in life.
In the finale, a comet, a comet of love, flies to earth, it was very interesting for me to compose this object, at the end of the performance the actors sit on warm blankets and bask in the rays of our comet. The comet turned out to be like a light art object, it faded and flared up again, winked at us all with its eyes, blinded and warmed, burned and bewitched, numerous lighting devices worked separately from each other and with different rhythms, with different intensities and it looked incredibly beautiful and large-scale, I can say that this is one of my favorite elements of decoration in this performance.
