While working on this performance, the director and I were primarily inspired by fashion shows in Italy and France. I was faced with the task of coming up with stylish costumes that fit the actors perfectly, but at the same time making sure that each costume expressed the character and inner feelings of each character. I was also interested in working with the unusual space of a glass greenhouse with sand, into which I fit the costumes I had invented.
I worked carefully and painstakingly with each actor individually; together we made adjustments during the rehearsal process, because it is in rehearsal that sometimes you can find the truly important elements for a costume. The result turned out exactly as we wanted; the elements in the performance organically combine and complement each other.
